Snorkeling

The next day we got up at 8 and got a jeep ride up the coast to a spot called ‘Blue Hole’ where we went snorkeling. As soon as I jumped in the water, I understood why the resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh exists. The corral reef along the Red Sea is absolutely amazing. There were so many amazing kinds of fish and all the colors you could ever imagine were down there. The spot where we were had a hole that dropped 80m right off the shore. We were able to swim around the rim and it was pretty wild to be right above a shear wall that dropped straight off into the deep, as far down as we could see. If you are into scuba diving, you need to go check out the Red Sea, it was amazing!
